The ramp fitted to vehicles adapted for persons with reduced mobility is not intended for use by people with buggies. Therefore, if you cannot get on the vehicle with the buggy open, you will need to fold it away and carry the child in your arms. If the buggy cannot be folded away, you will need to put it in the space intended for wheelchairs provided that this space is available and activate the brakes.
If the bus does not have a specific space for wheelchairs or that space is already occupied, the buggy must be folded away (please remember that, for safety reasons, the aisles of the bus cannot be obstructed). The best place for storing buggies is in the luggage compartment if the vehicle has one. Nonetheless, folded buggies will be allowed on board provided that they do not represent a hazard for other users; i.e. the buggies have no sharp, piercing or dangerous elements.
